Contempo Casuals was launched in the ’60s by husband-and-wife team Dottie and Wil Friedman. This resourceful couple spun a liquidated variety store into a women’s clothing shop that specialized in fresh, hip styles.
There is a small tear behind the pocket. I pulled the pocket forward in one of the images to show you the tear. This can be easily fixed. Most hippies didn’t mind wearing items expressed rebellion against Nixon and the tie and suit appearances, whether holes in your jeans, embroidered florals on your clothing, or jackets that were tattered.
This jacket is the original, worn, NOT new, & shows wear as most vintage and antique items typically do.
This jacket does weigh because of the thick suede used with the lining.
