Yard Guard is non-toxic outdoor pest control that kills and repels unwanted insects without adversely impacting the water, soil, or air. Safe to spray on the entire lawn, including bushes, trees or vegetable gardens.
Directions for Use:
When applying Lawn & Garden spray it should be done in the morning or early evening times. Avoid applications in the middle of the afternoon due to the heat and direct sun.
For Yard or Lawn Treatment:
For first time treatments, a healthy saturation is recommended using the supplied hose end applicator. Spray all surfaces where you intend to keep bugs away. Applications can include outer walls and windows of house (or other structure), patios, outdoor furniture, lawn areas, bushes, trees and fences. By working your way out from home or structure, you will create a perimeter that is off limits to pests dependent on how large a radius you choose to treat. Follow up applications should be done as needed and usually only require getting everything that was originally treated wet (as opposed to saturation). Maintenance applications are recommended as needed and the frequency depends on personal preference and observation of treated areas. A rule of thumb is approximately once or twice per month and is based on your personal goals for an insect free environment.
Note:
Do not spray directly on the following plants as they are extremely sensitive to essential oils:
Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Fothergillas, Holly, Gardenias.
For Kennel Treatment:
Using the supplied hose end sprayer, spray down entire kennel area and let air dry. Do not rinse as the solution will continue to help neutralize bacteria, fungus, mold and mildew even when dry. Neutralizes and repels insects and promotes dehydration of eggs and larvae. Can be used in litter boxes and applied around bedding areas. Can spray any areas where pets or animals congregate. An intense soak of all surfaces is recommended for first time use to get treated areas started with this insect control protocol. Maintenance applications are recommended as needed and frequency depends on personal preference and observation of treated areas. A rule of thumb is to re-treat areas approximately once or twice per month.
Precautionary statements:
Do not use cedar on or around pet reptiles, rabbits, pet mice, pet rats, ferrets, guinea pigs, or exotic birds.
Keep out of reach of children – not for internal use.
Do not spray directly on face – avoid contact with eyes.
Causes temporary eye irritation. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes.
