relationship marriage comedy (one of the “Higgins Family” series of
movies starring the real life Gleason family of actors) starring James Gleason,
Lucile Gleason, Russell Gleason, Harry Davenport, Marie Wilson, Mary Hart,
Tommy Ryan, and Berton Churchill. Note that James Gleason, Lucile Gleason, and
Russell Gleason were real-life husband, wife, and son. This series of movies
allowed them to regularly work together!
Storyline
Joe Higgins’ wife gets the job meant for him, so he stays
home to do the housework.
